Latest satellite images suggest that the ULL that was centered near 30N 72W has developed some convection near the center and its surroundings indicating some transition. We'll have to wait to see if this continues, but it has struck me since yesterday the fact that it no longer resembles an ULL.
This system was mentioned earlier by the NHC, but it appears that they would have to do so again soon. UL conditions are favorable for some development over the next few days.
I'll be watching as it could also be a factor that influences the future track of "Tropical Wave Irene"...
