Car bomb in Saudi Arabia 10 US people dead

#1 Postby cycloneye » Tue May 13, 2003 6:07 am

http://www.cnn.com/2003/WORLD/meast/05/ ... index.html

A terrorist attack not clear as I type this who was responsible but Al-Qaeda is the main suspect has left 10 americans dead and many more injured.By the way Colin Powell is there in Saudi Arabia (what a coincidence) the attack and his presence there.

This shows that the war on terrorism is far from over and it will be many years from now when hopefully that war may end but incidents like these will continue around the world. What we can do is to pray that no attacks happen in the US like 9/11.

I am praying for the families of the victims of this coward attack.

Unofficial sources now affirm that this IS an Al-Qaida attack, and that the dead and injured will be "in the hundreds" (FoxNews, bare and falanced).

Cited in this afirmation is that the four separate bombings were coordinated, used many more vehicles (seven at one target shown), and Saudi Arabia failed to capture at least 19 suspected Al-Qaida terror suspects last week in raids that garnered weapons and explosives caches.
