I saw a rainbow spread real low off the ground (like 20 degrees up) and arced right over Highway 380 up in McKinney last month. One of my more memorable North Texas thunderstorms.

Other than that, I had a blast during Hurricane Floyd when I lived in NJ.

You should have come up to Florence. Here, we'd actually had several inches of the white stuff. Further north, as I recall, there were a few locations that got 2'+!

Most exciting event here? The 6-14 severe storm that may have produced a downburst/tornado just east of my home. A close second goes to the snowstorm mentioned above.

Mine would still have to be the flooding we had as the remnants of Frances and Ivan came through Ohio just 9 days apart. Most significant flooding event this area has seen for many many years. We measured 5.65" of rain for Frances and 9.5" for Ivan.
