Radio News...

#1 Postby vacanechaser » Wed Aug 10, 2005 11:33 am

At the top of the hour on am radio, I just heard them say,

"Irene downgraded a few days ago to a depression, however the NHC is saying that Irene is getting better organized and that and could be strengthening and she could become a hurricane as it threatens a U.S. landfall next week."

Now that may not be the way it was said word for word, but generally, when they start talking about it on the news like that, Max has been on the air alerting the media and alike to start talking about it... And sounds like they are warning now of a possible hit later next week..

Well, Jesse, it's not too soon for the Eastern Seaboard to become aware of (soon to be) Irene.

I noticed they're talking about it on CNN.com, too.

Well, it looks like this could be big in the long run, but we'll have to wait and see.
