Illinois Hazing

#1 Postby fixitmhn » Tue May 13, 2003 12:53 pm

I just participated in a Fox NEws Online poll about the Illinois Hazing and was surprised by the results. The poll asked who was responsible for the incident. The kids, parents, school, or don't know. The vast majority thought the kids were responsible. I on the other hand thought the parents were responsible. If they raised their children with the proper values, the kids would have known it was wrong and probably wouldn't have participated.

What's your take on this?

See the other hazing topic posted.

You as a parent can only do so much to protect your child and teach them right from wrong.

THese kids are old enough to know right from wrong. The parents by this time have done just about all they can do.

Just curious fixit, Do you have any kids?

3. The youngest is 25 now and they know better than to participate in something like that. They wouldn't have even considered it when they were in HS. I guess it's the changing times.
