I am sure just about everyone in the state of NC would have been ecstatic if he paid a visit to your part of the woods and not here (not that we wish harm on others). Floyd memories... more like nightmares. I am sure if you seen some of the faces on those who lost everything, or had to stand helpless by and watch some of the poor animals fighting to stay above water only to disappear under the current your feel of betrayal would have quickly disappeared.

that was actually a bit of sarcasm to lighten things up. I personally know exactly what its like to go through a hurricane. I felt the pains first hand of hurricane Andrew in 1992. The name Andrew is all that needs to be said and the rest is history.

Sorry...
I am sure living through what you have, you can understand it can be very hard to see "a bit of sarcasm to lighten things up" when some says they feel betrayed about something that caused so much pain and destruction. This coupled with the fact that we have had a good amount of rain here this season and now have flood warnings issued every time we get any rain, and are now closely watching a system out there and praying it doesn't come this way. Can I say... a little on edge here. :(

True ncbird. But I dont allow things in life to control me. There is no need for me to be sour and sad all the time. I only have 1 life to live and Im gonna live it to my fullest. I remember after Andrew south florida looked like a war zone far worse then anything I have ever seen. But I chose to make things happier in my life. Im sorry if things are hard for you cause I know they are, but for myself(since I cannot speak on your behalf) I choose to not let these things tear me down anymore.

I was 8. it all happened overnight and I slept though it lol. all I know i that when I woke up the next morning the small brook about about 400 feet from my house was a raging river flowing into my basement and there was a small tree down with a lot of branches on the ground.

Don't even get me started on the TWC board... I'm so glad I left that place(well, I'm still a member and have posted once or twice, but it's painful).
