Question about Irene

This is not a forcast.


I am taking a look at the map below and I am wondering the following. I am not an expert and I am trying to learn how to read different maps and such.

According to this it looks like Irene should be moving 300 Deg. Irene will then be moving more westerly in a day or two under the axis over the bahamas if it stregthens... is this a good assumption or am i incorrect?

Please any comments.

Right Now, there is a weakness and you can see that between the two ridges.

That ridge over the bahamas will move Northeast and strengthen the Bermuda Ridge. Let's see how it set's up.

BTW, those images can lie at times.
