From the 11:30AM TWO:

Surface observations indicate that a low pressure area associated
with a tropical wave has formed about 1200 miles east of the
Windward Islands...and satellite images suggest that the shower
activity is gradually becoming better organized. This system has
the potential to become a tropical depression during the next day
or two as it moves toward the west or west-northwest.

Get ready for this hide and seek game all over again as we have jose on the horizon...Could be another threat to the east coast!

No way this si fish. If Irene can come this close, than something that much further S and W shouldn't have any problem hitting some land somewhere, whether it be the islands or the East Coast.

How can someone already discern that 96L will be a fish? Geez, its not even a depression yet. Amazing, simply amazing!

They are saying the possibility of a fish exists with this one, if it develops, because there is likely going to be a weakness left behind by Irene which would allow the system to the south to turn more northward. Again, just a possibility and still to early to know.
