This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

I guess I am wrong. I said no fish from the beginning but it looks like crow is for breakfast. Maybe ketchup will help it down.

Its' not over yet. The models have consistently had a rightward bias on this one all along, so we shall see.

It's not dissipated yet... Don't speak so soon! For all we know... this could loop!

Learn to read... I didn't say it would loop. But only if you are God can you for sure say it won't. But you aren't and can't.

I give it a slight chance of looping...maybe 30%...but even if it does...it should get drug north by the westerlies later on in the period.

I just don't want to think about it looping, even if BAMM and BAMD loop it to an extent. It wouldn't bode well for me, I live near DC and that would be pretty well effected if Irene were to loop and come on inland, at whatever strength she would have by then.

I'll admit that I was half wrong on Irene:

I said it would get much further west than 80% of the people here thought it would (alot of people actually said it would either recurve between Africa and the Islands, or later east of Bermuda), but I was incorrect in my assumption that it would at the very least clip Cap Hatteras.

With that stated Irene had to be one of the trickiest storms in years, and I for one loved the challenge :D

Hope everyone is having a great weekend fishing
