I "LOVE" Sept and Oct, why?? "Halloween CANDY!" 8-) What's your favorite candy? Mine, "Chic O' Stix", Peanut Patties and Almond Joy!

Twizzlers, Pixie Stix, and mini Reese's do it for me, but I'll take a handful of certain candy bars also. :)

When I was growing up, my best friend, a couple of other friends, and I would do our trick-or-treating and then end the night at my house or hers, watching a scary movie (usually my fave - "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow) and drinking hot chocolate to get warm. We'd all pick a section of living room carpet on which to station ourselves while we dumped our loot and sorted through the goodies. Then we'd trade with each other in order to get rid of the candy we weren't necessarily fond of. For example, I never liked Babe Ruths, Butterfingers, those orange and black peanut-butter chews, and anything cherry-flavored. Those always got traded out. :D

Did anybody else do it that way?

Of course, there was no indulging in any sweets until after the parents checked the wrappings. If it was wet, sticky, or melting, we didn't risk it.

Still goes that way in our house, last year there were 5 piles of candy in my living room with candy bars flying overhead during the trading. And yes, mom checks everything before they eat it. (Mom also gets any and all Mounds! :D )

Now, Dennis, I thought you might be pickin' on me....LOL!
Since my name is Annette, I tell my patients that they can
remember my name by thinking of "A-Nut".... and, I'm always
being silly, singing, "Sometimes I feel like A-Nut - sometimes,
I don't..."

Autumn is my favorite time of year, too, and, my favorite
candy is Mounds and those little Nestle Krackle bars! My
favorite memory of a Halloween treat, though, is a nice
little old lady from church who used to make homemade
caramel popcorn balls - we used to hit her house, first, before
they were all gone! That was always the first treat that we
ate from our treat bag, as well! Of course, nowadays, you
can't trust anything that isn't commercially sealed.

When it comes to chocolate-Almond Joy and Snickers

Other- Tropical and Sour Skittles, JellyBelly Jellybeans, Starburst, Twizzlers, Zours, almost any kind of fruity or sour candy as you can see! I am a candy freak! But, went to the dentist on Wednesday and NO cavities! In fact, the I did not get my first cavity until just last year at age 28. And I had to get 3 filled at once. I am obsessed over brushing and flossing, though.
