Hmm things have certainly changed since this morning. Now more of a threat to the coast of Florida. Many models are hugging the loop.

For the second run in a row, the ECMWF (12Z out) hits extreme NE FL on SUN 9/11.

They move Nate out pretty fast huh? I don't think that will happen. Nate is moving slower than that that. He will more likely still be there to pump up the ridge to Ophelia's east. That will keep the storm from moving out to sea. I STILL don't buy the loop and the landfall. The storm is not moving and proably won't until the ridge to her west forces her E a bit or NE ( which may be happening) I don't think this will pull a Jeanne since the ridge to the west is forecast pretty well over the eastern US in the coming days.

Of course I'll eat my crow when she loops, but I'm betting agaist it

Crow may be served...if last year was any indication.

Please read the previous posts on how a departing storm (Nate this year) serves to pump the backside ridge, which can cause the Ophelia loop de loo, and if this happens, it will be the "media-fest" of the year, given what Katrina just did.

the 12z GFDL is NOT what FL needs, or anyone else is US coast for that matter.

When you say "insert infor here", what information do you put there, the file name on your harddrive or the URL? Thanks

It has a tendency to be biased to the west. But coupled with the Ruskin Disco....

I wont stop watching this thing till it is either out to sea and dissapated, or inland and gone.

Chances are I am taking a less than educated guess that sounds good because 10 years ago I stole Mike Watkins book 'The Hurricane and its Impact'.
