Where will Rita make landfall?
I think it's obvious it's going to be some type of U.S. landfall, but I left the Mexico option on there for hopeful people

I've seen a lot of people call it North Texas or NE Texas. It's just kinda funny. I live here. Nothing north about it. lol
We call it Southeast Texas here and/or the Upper Texas Coast (the latter particularly when referring to the tropics) but I think most people know what you meant.

I picked "north texas" but I would have picked the middle Texas coast if that was an option. I think it'll (2nd?) landfall slightly north of Port O'Connor, which is around the area Hurricane Claudette hit back in 2003.
Personally, I think the high is going to move east enough to protect the Louisana area. The only question for Texans tonight is how far east the high moves...
