GFS, mm5, CMC further west befor the n. turn
Latest gfs, mm5 cmc, are further west before the nnw turn. I wouldnt be surprised to see the models to start to shift more west and south over time. the high looks to be stronger than forecasted. Water vaper shows a strong ridge over Texas. Its going to be a crazy week. But as of right now the biggest concern has to be the keys.

they are significant shifts that shows how uncertain the 5 day forecast is right now. I was surprised how far north the NHC shifted the forecast so far north in just under 24 hrs. from yesterday. Just tells me that all of the the Texas coast needs to pay close attention to Rita.Starburst wrote:I was just wondering the same thing. I have not looked at the models how far west has it shifted?
