Well the 18z GFS and NAM, 23z RUC, and now the 00z NAM all took it to about 29 north and then drifted it west for about 6 hours or so and then resumed the NNW movment. I realize the NAM is not often thought of as a good model for tropical systems but this close in it may be of some use. At any rate the agreement between all of them is interesting.

someone ought to get on the horn to Greta and the other reporters in Galveston, they may end up getting a little more of this storm than they anticipated. And what about that moron Geraldo sitting on the Port Arthur levee. These last few radar shots of the west wobble may just do ol' Geraldo in

I see what you are talking about, on the Houston radar it looks like it was moving NW and then for the last four frames it was almost like it just stopped its northward progress. Maybe it's land interaction or maybe those models are on to something.

one more image, and it's due west again. Here in Houston, Frank Billingsley is making an idiot of himself saying "it's going to Cameron." JB is about to be right again.

Watching the Houston station and the radar definitely appears to be showing a westward jog. Trend? or just a (dare I say it???) wobble?

It's following the convection on its west side, should resume NNW shortly.

this is insane!!! I'm sitting here waiting for radar to update every 5 minutes. I need a sedative here in Houston!!!

Last image didn't look to go due west. Hopefully, that's it.

The eye is getting stretched out east to west, making it appear to wobble west. Its not moving west at all.
Check the long range from New Orleans, it shows what is happening.
