West wobble on radar
looks like on radar its bumped west...trying to stay over water longer..shes smart

Well the 18z GFS and NAM, 23z RUC, and now the 00z NAM all took it to about 29 north and then drifted it west for about 6 hours or so and then resumed the NNW movment. I realize the NAM is not often thought of as a good model for tropical systems but this close in it may be of some use. At any rate the agreement between all of them is interesting.

someone ought to get on the horn to Greta and the other reporters in Galveston, they may end up getting a little more of this storm than they anticipated. And what about that moron Geraldo sitting on the Port Arthur levee. These last few radar shots of the west wobble may just do ol' Geraldo in

I see what you are talking about, on the Houston radar it looks like it was moving NW and then for the last four frames it was almost like it just stopped its northward progress. Maybe it's land interaction or maybe those models are on to something.
