No worries. As another poster did for the State of Florida, New Orleans, and, indeed, the whole State of Louisiana, has opted out of the remainder of hurricane season. Someone please alert Mother Nature. Thank you.
All the same, I think its a good thing that construction probably will not begin on the lower floor of my house until after hurricane season.

That is exactly what I said last year after Charley, Frances & Jeanne came through here. Guess what? Now I am guessing that my house will not be completed until after this years hurricane season. Bummer! Oh well...what can you do?

However, if it does develop, i'd say anyone from the Florida West Coast to the Texas Gulf Coast will need to watch it. In all fairness, if anyone should get a hit, it would be West Florida, not because it's a good place, but because I doubt any OTHER part of the Gulf can withstand even a tropical storm...i'd say West Florida is most prepared to weather a hurricane. At least more so than the Central Gulf, the Florida Panhandle, and much of the Texas Gulf Coast....am I making any sense at all??

Anyway I am on the verge of SOILING MY PANTS if the models don't
start making sense soon...
