Interesting WPAC statistic
The WPAC just reached their last name on the last list (Saola) and have restarted the naming lists with storm 1 on list 1 (Damrey). The first Damrey was a super typhoon in May of 2000. It took 5 years and 4 months to go through all of the names.

Names that have been retired:
Vamei
Chataan

Where did you find that information? And do we know what names will replace those four?
-Andrew92

Chataan was replaced with Matmo
Imbudo was replaced with Soudelor

I agree it hit as a cat5. In the united states if something hit as a cat5 it would almost have to hit where Bret hit not to be retired.
