Jasper fared much worse than you could imagine, being what, about 70-80 miles inland. It was a very scary night and morning. If there's ever another one, I'll evacuate much farther inland.
Hey SG. Hope things going better for you. Its amazing how many people think if they are 70-80 miles inland they will be safe from a hurricane. Hopefully your photos will make some believers.

I haven't made it over to Jasper area yet.I had seen pics though& looks alot like what we got dished out West of woodville in the woods(I'm halfway between woodville/reservation on 190 but 10 miles back in the woods)I didn't like the gas fate so rode it out.Hubby should evac next time though...not a good rider
I'm still without power.I'm supporting a generator.2 cans a day& yesterday hurt,was all out regular...only super plus $3.07.words WON"t describe thoughts on that one!
