Wilma CAT 5?
i know this is why out here but i got a strange feeling she will become a monster low shear ,hot deep jacuzzi water before weakening some i know the pros will probably say the chances are zero but they said the same thing about Katrina/Rita at first than boom CAT 5 overnight.Remember 2005 has been a year where climotology has been bucked time and time again so anything is possible

im an anti-hypster and tend to lean towards reality and the more conservative type of things.....but.......in this case i dont see why it wouldnt be possible in the next 2 days seeing everything weve seen this year......and a cat 4 just seems likely.
i am far more reserved about the eventual landfall and dont expect more than a cat 1.

everyone gets those strange feelings after Rita and Katrina (although Rita was very scary because it was hyped to be a monster and then did become a monster!).
Wilma is in the place to have a shot at Cat 5. Mitch was a Cat 5 here during a similar part of the year and so were Gilbert and Allen. However, Cat 5s just aren't that common. There have been 2 and possibly a 3rd in Emily. What are the odds of a fourth?

On the other hand, Cat 4 Wilma is a strong possibility and Cat 5 Wilma is unlikely but not out of the question. Look for: ridicuously good outflow channels and a period of rapid intensification. I suspect that Wilma's first peak will be her greatest intensity... excepting minor fluctations of up to 5 mph. Once she starts to decay, she won't be in the position to make it up again.

2005 the year of the CAT 5 if this thing reaches CAT 5 this will be the 3rd or 4th CAT 5 to form this season but that all depends on Emily's reanalysis
we average 2 major hurricanes a year but this year major hurricane means CAT 5 monsters that looks like a giant home depot buzzsaw with a big eye in the middle(Katrina)

Well Katrina proved that a storm does not have to be a Cat 5 to do tremendous damage. I pray that Wilma really drops off way before hitting fla. I would hate to see a cat 4 or 5 type surge with a Cat 2 or 3 storm. This country simply cannot afford too much more damage.
