When Will Panic Mode Set In for Wilma?
Surprisingly I don't see panic yet here in SE FL despite a rapidly intensifying hurricane that has the potential to be a CAT 4+ in less than 24 hours.
hmmm...
I think panic will set in on Thurs big time once the turn to the N and NNE starts to happen.

no need to panic.... and no need for panic thread JMHO
I'm just hoping word starts to get out for S. Floridians that danger looms. I think many still think that it is going to turn or weaken or some gift from God is going to prevent this from being a catastrophe. Also, SE Floridians are complacent about the SW approach thinking an Atlantic approach should only be concerning.

No doubt, Brent. I'm really concerned about Tampa Bay. IMHO, she'll be too big to make such a hard right turn farther south.
I actually think she will... This is really really looking like a Keys and Miami/Fort Lauderdale/WPB hurricane.

It's going to be bad for someone no matter how it's sliced.

Exactly. And aren't those heavily populated areas, especially Miami/Ft Lauderdale, the Keys???

Panic will begin as soon as the media gets word of the latest recon findings. Media panic that is.

The media frenzy begins (justified to an extent). People in Florida prepare.
