What we are all going to do when the season is FINALLY over. 5 months of adrenlin rushes won't calm down till February.

Many people will probably get lots of sleep to rest for 2006, although I can't and don't want to imagine what 2006 could possibly do for an encore.

I've been hurricane punch-drunk since before Katrina made landfall. If we never have another hurricane season like this one in my lifetime, it will be too soon.

I can't imagine what it's like for those who have been impacted the most, it must be like waking up on a different planet where everything you ever knew is different forever.

I thought last year was bad. I really don't think I can take much more if this keeps up.

Indeed. My kids are living in New York, I'm living in Alabama and my wife is living in Louisiana. We have no house. We have no things but photos and report cards.

With any luck, this spring will be mild in terms of severe weather. I read that a hyper-active hurricane season generally means less tornadic outbreaks in the following spring.. thoughts?
