I am still learning how to read the different models along with their reliabilty and consistency. I noticed the GFS this evening looks like it wants to give us another shot of cold before Christmas if I am reading that right.
Any of you see the same things?

I don't consider this current front a big arctic front at all. Our lows probably won't even make it into the 20's. We usually get a few big fronts during the winter that send us down into the low - mid 20's and every couple of years the teens. Our best shot of snow historically is in February but the past 10 years of so winter has pretty much come to an end after January around here. Here's hoping for another Christmas storm but better, we only got a trace of sleet/snow around here.

Defintely arctic... maybe not on the coast, but take a look at this. RIDICLOUSLY COLD for Early December:
Note that little pocket of warm weather (comparatively speaking) right where we are--that prevents us getting some snow.
