NWS Charlotte states the GFS was high by at least three degrees with today in many areas. We were suppose to see 38, never got above 34. Temps and DP's are lower than models indicated-thus Ice Storm Warnings.

Your WEST of Atlanta? Are you sure?![]()
Boring cold cold rain here... but given the alternative, I'm glad. Finally got this house really warm.
Yeppers....West of Atlanta. Near Paulding/Douglas/Cobb line.
Oh, it gets better...it's now 30.3.

Did you just save money on your car insurance?LMAO... Good night everyone, IF we do get anything besides rain I will post it on here, I highly doubt we get anything though...
What stinks is that as I was reading that...I heard Tony Little in my head saying that like he does in his commericals.

You're very close now...don't know why its colder out here where I am? Maybe cuz its further away from the city and radiational heat?
Jen
You'd be amazed how much the temperature varies, even moving the thermometer to different places around the yard gets wildly different measurements.
I do think temperatures will come up a bit as the rain gets heavier...
