Jeremy, of course there are some warm wishes beings sent your way from our here in the desert tonight. We hope this will be a turning point toward the best year you've ever experienced in 2006.

Has Jeremy been released from the hospital by chance because I'm registered with the Cincy Children's Hosp. Med. Center Care Pages system and when I typed in his first and last name it came back saying that there wasn't anyone hospitalized there by that name...?

No...I am still in here. I was not able to get into the site until today.

Now, there's good news and there's news I don't like to have. The good news is that recovery is on track and I should be out by Christmas. The bad news is, I still can't have solid foods, or anything by mouth for that matter. :( The tube is staying in until Thursday, which I don't understand.

Jeremy - I'm glad to see you've checked in again. And hopefully you will be home by Christmas. Major surgery takes a long time to recover from, just be patient about the feeding tube. Remember when you go back on solids, go easy! Nothing spicy or fancy, just plain ole comfort food is what I did best with (the BRAT diet). I wish you the very best here.

Well things completely changed. Within 12 hours, the tube was GONE! It fell out somehow this morning, and doctors did not want it back in! Evidently, they were waiting for me to have a bowel movement, which can and did happen last night. Finally, the road to recovery begins.

GREAT NEWS there, Jeremy!! :)

I've had surgeries in the past and it took me a while to "get going" so I know the feeling.

Also, the time when I had my upper jaw work I had a nose tube for a while to help drain off any excess bleeding and was so relieved when that thing was gone!

I have a Christmas surprise on it's way to your house, too! :)

((((LIGHT HUG))))

We're definitely on track. I am gonna be having solid foods tomorrow after clear liquids tonight, and if all goes well with that, I may go home Thursday. :)
