Easy "picnic" dinner: Ball Park White Meat Turkey Dogs with all the condiments but no bun, soy chips, Bush's vegetarian baked beans; dessert: 2 strawberries, 4 apple slices, and 6 walnut halves dipped in Harry & David's no-sugar hot fudge sauce :P

Tonight I went to one of my best friend's fiance's house with her. His parents boiled some crawfish and crabs. Yummy! My favorite thing in the world to eat. First time I ate boiled crawfish this season.

Prime Rib just doesn't sound good tonight, I've got strip throat and a earache from HADES to top it off.

Dinner was "Happy Hour" for 3 couples on the neighbors' back patio: I brought 3 lbs. of hot buffalo chicken tenders with ranch-blue cheese dipping sauce plus roasted red pepper spread w/crackers; other noshings included veggie tray, cheese tray, and baked brie. The guys drank beer, but the cocktail du jour for us gals was the Coco Loco (slushy pineapple juice, orange juice, grenadine, coconut milk with Malibu Coconut Rum and Jamaican Golden Rum mixed in -- yummy! :D

I'm cooking lots of different stuff so we can have leftovers during the week. I've cooked a pot of Red Beans & Rice, grilled tuna, tilapia and sausage.

Actually, I never had dinner today. After church, we drove up to Vero Beach (1-1/2 hr. one way) to see the kids and took them to Chili's for lunch ~12:00. Then it was back home by 3:30 to a neighbor's party (vodka + tonic plus some cheese and pretzels). I just made a small bowl of plain Quaker oatmeal so that I don't wake up at midnight and raid the refrigerator!

Worked from 12-7 today and stopped off at Mcdonalds before I went in. Fish Sandwich combo. Got home around 7:25 and there is hardly any food in the house. So just ate some popcorn. I am still hungry, but too exhausted to go drive to go get me something. Need to go grocery shopping tomorrow!
