Duffy from Maine, have you ever experienced a hurricane first hand? lost power for weeks, wonder if youre goin loose your roof? i guess some people have to experience these things to wish they dont happen.I love the complexity that goes with tracking storms but i pray for anybody in their path,I hope 06 leaves without any U.S hits. We simply cant afford it. Im sorry if i sound testy but im sure most will agree with me.

I suppose they would Windy...i didn't mean to sound disrespectful towards any of the Victims of these Storms...BUT...you also know there's alot of ppl who want to experience the "Rush" of a storm as well....someone did a Poll on here not long ago and the majority said they'd ride out a Cat 3

experiencing a hurricane when you live in florida is one thing, you learn to expect it now down here.Im one of those people that said i would ride out up to a cat 3. not because i want to, but because leaving is a huge pain. i stress making your home safe to ride em out. Iv gone through 4 hurricanes and i assure you the aftermath is tuff. Really, if you want to experience the thrill of a hurricane drive in your car and head south on 95. The traffic will be very light since everyone will be heading north.
