That's why I said they issued four hours too early. In reality, they issued more like seven or eight, but four hours is typical lead-time for a WW. Furthermore, for every hour a WW is out that no weather is occurring is costing taxpayers money. (Just a little something we were taught when we were learning how to issue WWs.)

Pettis County, under a State of Emergency from the Sedalia tornado (had to have been at least a strong F2/F3), is under a tornado warning again...the local air force base is in the line of fire now...

Severe Thunderstorm Watch 76 issued for eastern Iowa/northwestern Illinois west of Chicago.

Tornado Watch 77 should be issued soon for eastern Illinois/western Indiana/westernmost Kentucky?? at this rate. Probably not a PDS though.

Talking to a friend at Whiteman AFB, looks like the apparent tornado is north of the base by a few miles.

Double post! Anyway, this cell could reach Indiana at this rate!

I can't find any coverage from the Springfield-Decatur-Champaign area.

None yet from this one, it's still moving through. There are damage reports from about 5 hours ago, i.e. 1" hail and signs knocked over.

That's the same storm as the one approaching Springfield, IL now. Not the same tornado, however.

There have now been 10 tornadoes today, assuming several multiple-track tornadoes were indeed the same one. (Could be more)

Since Thursday, I have counted 26 tornadoes.

Confirmed report of tornado on ground in central Butler county in W MO - same place as the Sedalia storm was a couple of hours before it reached Sedalia.

Earlier, if I'm not mistaken, you clumped the Sedalia and Boonville tornado together with the Columbia tornado seperately. If anything, the Boonville and Columbia tornado were the same.

Looks like Sedalia is under the firing line for another storm with a tornadic history... Not good for them at all...
