Nice little spin off the west coast of florida....Looks like there is some convection trying to fire...Any idea what this is from?
Thanks!

I think we are trying to grasp for anything that has a chance - even if there is really no chance at all.

It's so quiet this year and we have all had expectations from last year which, so far, is proving to be an anomaly. Typically things don't get going until mid to late August so in the about 3-4 weeks, I would expect an increase in activity.
However, we shouldn't be surprised if it takes more like 4-6 weeks to see some action (although I don't think it will take that long)

It really has not been too quiet this year. Typically we have just one named storm by July 11th. So far we are about normal for the early season.gatorcane wrote:storms in NC wrote:I had seen that this morning. I just knew someone would come up with that ull in the Gulf

I have the feeling something is about to bust...And i think its going to come sooner rather than later...Say within the next 10 days..I think 1-2 systems..

I agree. I think we may see 2 systems spin up at once in the near future.DESTRUCTION5 wrote:gatorcane wrote:storms in NC wrote:I had seen that this morning. I just knew someone would come up with that ull in the Gulf
