By the way, I don't this think has a chance to develop. It's just thunderstorms associated with the ITCZ and will probably run into South America or dissapate before even getting there.
Are you looking at the right area? There's no way it can run into South America. It's already well north of that latitude.

We really don't need this - 96L has what most other invests this year have been missing (as it seems to be the hardest to develop), a LLC. The covnection-gaining is the easy part, and can happen rather quickly. The rest of us would be yelling if he didn't mention it, so I'm really not sure of your problem, unless you haven't looked at the system in the past few days.

Wait, I thought you were done posting on this wave, yet you keep posting on it You keep saying the same thing over and over, we get your point so you don't have to keep saying it. Now if you have something to contribute to the discussion post away, if not... don't.

I think you are the one going insane, wishing that 96L would just disappear, face it conditions are not that terrible, otherwise it would had been gone a long time ago. Yes, there is light shear and dry air, but somehow it still has a good identified curviture to it, small but still there. Remember that this came from a very strong tropical wave, so the energy still there.

Yes...there is a difference between the two systems...a BIG one. However, if you would know the dynamics of tropical cyclones, you'd see where Stewart is coming from. He's the pro here and believe it or not, he has a good reason to post what he has.

Ok..you are comparing a strong tropical storm to a tropical wave... Obviously the tropical storm will look really much better than the wave.
The NHC states that the wave is better organize because of what WindRunner said. It has developed a LLC which can be clearly seen in latest visible loop.
