Wow, Chris got hammered! I wonder if Storm2K is going to set a record in the amount of storm cancel posts we have. I believe it is not over for Chris and he may still have a chance.

Sheared systems (in this case, completely sheared) often do not regenerate, so, we'll see...

The low-level circulation center is starting to encounter the ULL to it's west, and, even though the ULL is drifting northwestward, it's apparently enough to make conditions even more unfavorable...

There probably have been a few, but, in my memory, those that decoupled often did not regenerate. There might be some confusion concerning this, because a partially sheared system often does regenerate, but, a completely sheared system is usually just a completely exposed low-level swirl - as it is now...
