Spin in the central gulf?(Just a weather nut...no expert)
I was just looking at the spin in the central gulf..is there chance for developement there..looks kinda impressive..But i love the weather..don't know a whole lot about hurricanes!!

WIDELY SCATTERED MODERATE CONVECTION IS OVER THE E GULF OF
MEXICO FROM 24N-27N BETWEEN 84W-89W. SCATTERED MODERATE
CONVECTION IS OVER CENTRAL FLORIDA FROM 27N-29N BETWEEN
80W-83W. SIMILAR CONVECTION IS OVER S LOUISIANA FROM 29N-31N
BETWEEN 91W-93W. IN THE UPPER LEVELS... A CYCLONIC
CIRCULATION WITH MOISTURE IS OVER THE CENTRAL GULF NEAR 24N90W
MOVING W. CYCLONIC FLOW IS FROM 21N-32N BETWEEN 86W-98W.
EXPECT... CONTINUED CONVECTION IN THE VICINITY OF THE SURFACE
LOW FOR THE NEXT 24 HOURS. ALSO EXPECT AIRMASS CONVECTION OVER
FLORIDA AND THE NRN GULF STATES TOMORROW AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

Yeah its a upper low....With a surface trough to the northeast side. Remember how are sysem over in the western Pacific formed. We will need to watch just incase the upper low can form a surface low to its east or northeast...Or a area of low presure=convection to the northeast or east. Once it doe's so the upper low should move westward or west-southward. Which like system like Bill 2003,Grace,Fay all add upper lows. If I remember Bret had one to. Maybe this is what Joe b was talking about.

The system off the east coast reminds me of Eddy 2002 moving southwestward. Heck it looks better then him. This system reminds me of Fay a little?
