Did someone say there is shrimp on the barbie???!! YUM!!
Evening all, Father's Day is almost over..this day went much to quick.A BEE-U-TI-FUL day though, gosh the sun was shining, lovely breeze and no rain for a change!
Hubby spent part of the day installing fence around our yard, we want to keep the dogs and my little neice in....and a neighbor's dog who likes to poop in our yard..OUT! This afternoon I left the fencing operation to go with my bestest friend to the vet.She had to put her devoted hound of 16 years to sleep.Velvet had cancer, she lived 6 months longer than the vet expected, probably she would have lived 6 months more but she had a huge tumor on her paw and her quality of life just was not quality anymore.I just KNOW that God has a special place in His kingdom for our loyal hounds.
After that came home and made hubbies special supper. He wanted meatloaf and potatoes, I made enough for an army so I brought the leftovers here to the porch.....HEY DENNIS......I'll trade ya some meatloaf for BBQ shrimp!!
Widremann, welcome to the porch, so very good to see you here!
Tomorrow morning we leave for philly again. Our son is scheduled for surgery on the 17th.We have to arrive a day ahead of time for pretesting and such. We'll stay at a hotel right across the street from the hospital. We should be able to come home by Tuesday night. This is the last hurdle for our son, he's doing great, back to snuff....Thanks be to God and the wonderful Power of the Prayer Warriors!!I'll be sure and send word through Karan as to his progress.
Well that's about all this corner of the world has to offer round the porch tonight.Happy Father's Day to all you Dad's out there!!
Sandi....sending extra hugs and prayers your way...
Have a marvy Monday friends, rejoice in the day for it is the day that the Lord has made....and God don't make icky mondays!
Blessings to all,
Raine
