It's working for me. That is the main broadcast in the area affected.

New powerful cell in Kingsbury County (on the cold front).

Hook is looking better than ever, and we now have 90kt storm-relative shear and support with a 50dBz tube lowering in the hook - if that reaches the ground, well, rarely is that seen in anything sub-F2.

EDIT: picture, see the red tube coming down in the hook? That's a decent indication of a tornado, though this particular one is not well formed.

At least. That is one really to watch.

Minnesota and Iowa better be prepared - they are next! The other question is whether activity will develop farther south...

Of course, new volume and the tube is gone at 50dBz+, though still present in the 47dBz range . . . velocity isn't good any more either . . . of course, this is just one scan, it could be back and better looking than ever in the next.

Tornadoes routinely jump up and down in intensity when they are long-trackers. They'll be F1 for a mile, then F3 briefly, then back to F1, and so on...

Well now it doesn't even have a hook . . . looks like they're letting the warning expire as well, without even a severe for the next county over.

Looks like a decent amount of cumulus in KS, OK, and north TX to get things going, though I don't think we'll see any further extension of the watches in terms of northward or southward.

The SPC site seems to be picking up so few reports for the amount of cells that have taken place...

Cells really starting to form along the IA/NE border. This could be the start of a historic nighttime tornado outbreak

That is what I am concerned about. Lots of cells forming to the south and north too. We hit a lull period but it seems to be all coming back together. Until it forms a squall line - a long way from that - it is all supercells.

Pipestone hook produced two funnel cloud LSRs.

And the tornaod LSRs from SD are really pouring in now . . . up to 9 or 10 now. Also a couple of 1" reports in on the central KS cells . . . they look most promising for severe in general, but the tornadoes should be more likely to come out of these pops around Omaha.

Yep, FSD is really catching up with all the missed tornado reports. Up from 4 to 8 total, and more likely to come in.

Thankfully, no word on any injuries or fatalities yet.
