Hook is looking better than ever, and we now have 90kt storm-relative shear and support with a 50dBz tube lowering in the hook - if that reaches the ground, well, rarely is that seen in anything sub-F2.
EDIT: picture, see the red tube coming down in the hook? That's a decent indication of a tornado, though this particular one is not well formed.

At least. That is one really to watch.
Minnesota and Iowa better be prepared - they are next! The other question is whether activity will develop farther south...

Tornadoes routinely jump up and down in intensity when they are long-trackers. They'll be F1 for a mile, then F3 briefly, then back to F1, and so on...

That is what I am concerned about. Lots of cells forming to the south and north too. We hit a lull period but it seems to be all coming back together. Until it forms a squall line - a long way from that - it is all supercells.

Pipestone hook produced two funnel cloud LSRs.
And the tornaod LSRs from SD are really pouring in now . . . up to 9 or 10 now. Also a couple of 1" reports in on the central KS cells . . . they look most promising for severe in general, but the tornadoes should be more likely to come out of these pops around Omaha.
