What's for dinner?

When I was growing up and get out of school I ask my mother whats for Dinner and it went like this:
Monday:Spots
Tuesday:Spots
Wednesday:Spots
Thursday:mullets
Friday:Spots
Saturday:Chicken
Sunday:Ham or meatloaf or some kind of steak thats takes 3 hours to chew.Spots and mullets are fish if wondering.When I was growing up in the 80's and 90's they thought we were in a depression.

It is a "Lowcountry" dish with shrimp, sausage, potatoes, and corn...Oh and Old Bay or some other Cajun Seasoning.

Generally if outdoors, you line a table with newspaper and eat it almost like you eat steamed oysters...right on the table!

I prefer to let the sausage and potatoes cook for awhile together but not at too hig of a temp, just enough to keep it boiling. Then after about 1/2 hour add the corn corn...be careful not to overcook it..and then briefly the shrimp just until cooked (nothing is worse than an overcooked shrimp!)
