As mentioned last night, Rick Perry (R) has been re-elected Texas Governor, however in Dallas County, many voters voted democrat for district attorney. Elsewhere in the DFW area, Many cities such as Burleson, Allen, Richardson, Denton, and Grapevine have approved Liquor sales...not my hometown of Irving. As for the bond elections, all 12 bond proposals have been approved in Dallas as well as all 11 bond packages in Irving.

Looks like it may be quite some time before we have a definitive answer on who will control the Senate. As I understand it, Virginia will do a recount for any win less than 1% if Allen requests it (and so far he has given no indication that he wouldn't do so). If I'm reading the rules right, that recount would ahppen after the vote is certified, which doesn't happen for a couple of weeks.
All this is pretty murky to me, though.
Even though Montana is a closer race, it appears that it's much harder to get a recount there, so barring any irregularities turning up and pending the canvass to verify the vote (which takes about 48 hours) it looks like Tester is the winner there.
