Poll for African Wave?

#1 Postby Vortex » Fri Aug 10, 2007 9:14 pm

(Q) When will an Invest be declared?

(A)Sunday Morning

(Q) When will it be declared a Tropical storm and then a Hurricane?

(A) I expect Tropical storm Dean by Monday. I then expect Hurricane Dean on Wednesday.

(Q)Will it make landfall or be a fish?

(A) I expect landfall near Guadeloupe and the Virgin Islands with winds of 110-120 MPH. Then a direct hit or brush for Puerto rico.

Invest - Saturday afternoon

depression - sunday afternoon

tropical storm - tuesday morning

Move north of Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico...from there, $64,000 question..I just hope everyone is ready with their plans in place...now is the time to start thinking about all the "what ifs" and be ready.

Invest Sunday Morning
Tropical Depression Monday Afternoon
Tropical Storm Tuesday Morning
Hurricane Wednesday Night

Near the NE Caribbean or brushing to the north in about a week as a significant hurricane. Beyond that, anything goes.

We seriously don't need posts like this. Personal attacks are not good for anyone.

Anyway, I expect this to be an invest tomorrow (Sunday), but probably not much more than that for a while. Maybe it might become a TD mid-week if it survives.
