Someone post pics of the ECWF when possible.

dean needs a few showers around this and soon. I was not expecting what happened today to happen.
This dry air intrusion has allowed for greater surface divergence... likely means slower intensification than thought jut a few hours ago. The next few hours are going to be critical for determinging if this does become a significant hurricane east of the islands or if development will be significantly slowed

k4sdi-I'm not sure what you were asking. Major hurricanes that pass through the Hebert Box have a greater chance of a Florida hit.

but a lot of people here pay more attention to the GFS...according to one poster, the NHC prefers the GFS.

I posted 24 hours in the models thread.
It initialized way too weak, so I don't know how much the run is worth. It starts getting the system back after 24, track more northerly.
Sorry, I don't have time to do images - trying to do my job whilst also monitoring the board performance (we're way into uncharted territory in terms of load).
You and the board are doing a great job then.. no doubt it is running very fast for so many users..
Very Well Done!

I have a good buddy in Destin whom I will NOT be mentioning this to this far out.
