Interesting. As a business owner, on the rare occasions when we quote a mistaken price, I call the customer and tell them it was a mistake and offer the correct price. Then they can take it or leave it. I have had customers call me when the price quoted was an obvious mistake, and specifically give me the chance to correct it, too.
It's funny what some people are willing to excuse, though.
