So I have a friend of mine who has kicked someone out of there house.. I have assisted them in changing all the door locks as the keys were not returned.. However there was an automatic garage door opener in the home and the evicted party has one of the door openers in thier vehcile that was also not returned.. Is there anything that can be done IE: somehow reprograming it or anything at all, short of having to buy a whole new garage door opener?
Thanks

I would disconnect the darn thing. Locking it from the inside out. After coming home for work, he can open the door, putting his car away and then relocking it. It's a sure fire way to keep this person out of the garage!
Perhaps one the handy DIY types on S2K will have a better idea but we do this when we go on vacation. We never leave it connected to an automatic garage door opener. You just pull that chain, lock the door from the inside and walk around, coming out your front door. It's just more secure that way.

I'm not sure about the new ones - but they should have a similar way of changing them. But until they get that figured out I would definitely disconnect the opener.
