ALhurricane, I think thats good enough along with trecon finding 91kts at flight level for an upgrade, esp given the pressure it has so I fully expect an increase in winds to occur very soon.
Probably got another 2-3hrs over water before the westen part of the eye reaches land, thoughthe eyewall should be coming into the coastal strips within the next 2hrs I reckon and thus we should see hurricane force winds pretty soon being felt along the coasts near the Texas/Mexico border.

Also, if anyone is wondering why it says
ON THE FORECAST TRACK...THE
CENTER OF DOLLY WILL BE ALONG THE COAST NEAR THE TEXAS/MEXICO
BORDER AROUND MIDDAY TODAY.
That's because the NHC/TPC cannot change the forecast in an intermediate advisory. I would think the next full advisory in two hours will see a shift north.

Re: ATL: H Dolly in Western Gulf of Mexico
Where is she drawing this energy from for such a rapid pressure drop. The SST's are not high enough for such speedy strengthening. Slow yes, not this fast.
