Looks like the lower-level feature found by the recon mission may be finally starting to take over.

Looks like the MLC is very close now to the deep convection looking at that radar, suggests that the stacking issues may not ve around for much longer, just in time for its first brush with a major landmass...

In my amateur opinion, I think there is a closed circulation just north of St. Croix.

Wind reports do seem to support your thinking.

ok i was getting a little confused...that graphic shows the LLC would be estimated to be still west of the big blob (sort of the little minnie me appendage to the west of it) ...while the bigger blob is still West of the old MLC right.

Well If this girl goes through or S of PR you can throw the models thus far out it seems and go with the ones with the more S guidance but then in 48hrs there may be nothing to look at?

St. Croix is reporting 1012mb. BVI at 1011.6mb now. LOwer pressures are east of there. In any case, winds all across the northeast Caribbean are in the 5-10 kt range. Actually, I haven't seen a 10kt report recently. Must be a pretty strong storm at 5000 ft. ;-)

watch the very intense cell on radar ...as everything will converge to that general are which is where the llc was/ is

as you watch it tonight you will notice bands that will start rotating into that one big cell and then things will expand from that general area.. and of course the one big cell is not always going to be there, it will weaken and shift and rotate around as well ..

IMHO it appears that 92L may be running out of time to get its act together before it plows into the first of the big islands. It better pull up soon or all the work that it has done to try and establish itself will be for nothing. As for me, I'm fine with that...92L can fall apart and go elsewhere. That being said, my prayers are with all of the peope in the Greater Antilles...As we all know even minor systems can cause major problems in that part of the world.

yes it appears to me (barring a relocation of the center to the NE by a hundred or so miles) that the LLC (assuming a decent one develops) will be headed for a course thru both of the first two BIG islands, which bodes bad for flooding, and hopefully (the flooding will be minimal) and that could keep development in check
