I'm expecting that SW track to begin to flatten out and start showing a W or WNW bend at 5 days. If the track flattens out Hanna will be closer to SFL sooner.

keep us updated on the status of greg normans house in hobe sound, when his shutters go up let us know..

He's out on the court hitting with Chris rate now, I'm sure he'll jump in the copter and call a flunky to put up those shutters. :D

I see the models are starting to get things right. Maybe by late Sunday or Monday you will not see all that scribbling at the of the runs.

The posts in this forum are NOT official forecast and should not be used as such. They are just the opinion of the poster and may or may not be backed by sound meteorological data. They are NOT endorsed by any professional institution or storm2k.org. For official information, please refer to the NHC and NWS products.

A westerly track with a gradual turn to the WNW seems reasonable, given those
latest models. Also, a trough (with a strong cold front over the midwest) will
move into the Southeast US by day 4-5, making a WNW track reasonable.
In terms of intensity, let's hope that shear keeps this system weak.
Though a category 1 is possible IMO in 3-5 days, possibly stronger
if shear turns out to be less. I don't anticipate rapid intensification,
our Good Friend Shear should halt any explosive intensification, though
it is possible that it could occur if somehow the shear were to dramatically
be less than forecasted.

i can't tell what the heck is going on with this thing

AJC3 says the ull is healthy an hour ago.....but i really don't see that ajc3

all i see is that there is persistant sw shear along the Se side of a weakening or filling ULL

the ull seems to have lost it's signature , but i am not sure of this perhaps hanna has just moved on top of the ULL signature? interesting system for sure, tons of convection, great divegence just to the east, very warm water's.

I hope Hanna doesn't stay near the bahamas for too long or there could be some flooding potential once again for Florida. eventhough most of the rain is on the East, once it gets its act together that will change, if it does.

I also had trouble getting on this morning getting this error, is any one else having this problem, only way I was able to get on was by google.
Error 404 - We're sorry, but the requested page does not exist on this server.

I think the ULL is on the wane....to my untrained eye, it looks like Hanna only needs to hang in there for another 12-24 hours.

This has been said before about the ULL, but it appears to me that it is filling in. So far the ULL has been keeping Hanna in check and I do not want to see what Hanna can do without it being inhibited by the ULL.

Outflow looks better. Looks more like venting as opposed to shearing now on the northern semi circle. It also looks like the outflow from Gus may be what has held the ull.

See that burst of convection on the NW quadrant in the last few frames, is that a sign Hanna is strating to overtake the ULL?

Hanna is starting to look beautiful.........In a bad way

It looks like she is done playing with the ULL and beating it into a pulp, infact it looks like the ULL is becoming part of Hanna.

notice the circulation of the ULL is being pulled into the LLC merging together to become 1 powerful system.

i was wondering that and what blown away said, very interesting system

are hanna and the ULL getting stacked

i'm not convinced of that by any means, perhaps the ULL is just dropping SE even closer to hanna and that "nw convection someone mentioned" is just the easterly flow dropping south on the top of the ULL as it drops south.

Yeah, I think Hanna is starting to win this battle.
