I did it!

#1 Postby FreakyWxChick » Tue Jul 15, 2003 6:52 pm

I did it! I hired an attorney today. He was very optimistic regarding my whole situation and felt very positive about winning my case. I just thought I would share with everyone who suggested it.

Thanks all for your support, suggestions, and most of all prayers!

God Bless,
Freaky

Amen Freaky! Congratulations and keep on moving. It won't be the easiest thing you've done, but if you have solid ground to stand on, it is worth the fight.

Keep us posted on the progress!

ColdFront77, this won't go before a traditional court; it wil be heard before an "Administrative Law Judge", who acts as an arbitrator whose decision is final. No jury, but testimony is given, briefs are filed, and medical documents in support of WxChick's claims are presented in full..all taken into account, which the Social Security people obviously didn't do in the maw of bureaucracy that denied her.

Okay, Bill; understood. I hope I didn't imply that this was going before a "traditional court."
