Sheesh! Now I'm doin' maps for waves?????!
I'll keep running the Globals and see what prints out. We'll see if there is redevelopment and I'll post if the map updates again.

Even if the numericals do not initialize I can plot 925/950mb Vorts to see what might be developing. That assumes the models "see" a vort near SFC.

BTW, I've experimented with the same procedure for winter storms (which I detest). Can't overlay precip fields or heights but it was of some help with a couple storms last winter.
