Sheesh! Now I'm doin' maps for waves?????!

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

I'll keep running the Globals and see what prints out. We'll see if there is redevelopment and I'll post if the map updates again.

See Rainband, just the mention of The Tampa area and we scare her to death.

I really think she will make a come back. Right now, I cannot see her just disappearing.

Thanks Scott for all your model run updates they have been a great reference right at our finger tips.

Yikes! Don't like the CMC and UKMET. They take it straight into
Florida from my backyard! (Palm Beach County) It's a good
thing these models change their minds alot. :)

Kinda Sorta

Even if the numericals do not initialize I can plot 925/950mb Vorts to see what might be developing. That assumes the models "see" a vort near SFC.

BTW, I've experimented with the same procedure for winter storms (which I detest :x ). Can't overlay precip fields or heights but it was of some help with a couple storms last winter.

Toni, my thoughts exactly. Tropical Depression #6 original forecasts were calling for at least a moderate tropical storm. This system bears watching even though it had been downgraded to a tropical wave.
