I still hate Olivia and I know she is BAD STUFF, but she was awesome this episode.
RL3A0, I think you nailed it, whether you got it from a spoiler site or not.
Yeah, Olivia's totally evil but I loved her going after the reporter and burst out laughing when she mentioned the wife.

But seriously, the Chief of Staff(not to mention President's daughter) would go somewhere without the President knowing?
Again, didn't ring true.Re: Jack's recovery: It's either going to be that, or the treatment mentioned tonight. Since Kim is back next week I think the latter will be tried first, but Jack's obviously not going to die.
If you're expecting everything, or a lot of things, to ring true, you're watching the wrong show.

While some of it is possible, you pretty much have to throw reality out the window and just "go with it" when you watch 24. All of this is happening in ONE day. Jack has been tortured, nearly killed, and in at least one case, actually died, then a few shows (hours) later, he's back to performing stunts like he's just spent months in training and is in the best physical shape possible. When they'd make trips across L.A. in 5 or 10 minutes starting back in Season 1... "We'll be back at C.T.U. in 5 minutes," I learned that you just had to let some things slide in order for the concept of 24 to work. But, I love this show!!
LOL, I know. It's always amazing to me how much happens in a single day.

I do suspend belief a lot but sometimes it's just a little much. I still love the show though.
But going back to that point, 16 hours ago at the start of the day Jack was getting grilled by the Senate and 3 hours ago, Larry Moss thought Jack killed Senator Mayer and Ryan Burnett(and Olivia told her reporter friend that which should have been reported on the 11pm news)
Renee, hated the way Jack was at first, slapped him and upset in the hospital only 7-8 hours ago when Dubaku's girlfriend died and now I think she loves him. She's been looking devastated at the prospect of him dying from the exposure.
Oh, and why would a reporter NEED a story? In the span of this day, we've already had 2 planes colliding over D.C.(which is a huge story in itself), the First Gentleman taken hostage and nearly killed, a near catastrophe at a chemical plant in Ohio, the White House invaded and the President taken hostage live on the internet and a gun held to her head(not to mention the explosion that ended it). Now any one of these stories would get nonstop coverage on the news these days, much less all of them at the same time, and yet somehow the reporter needs another story to fill the newscast? LOL
I love this show but occasionally I just have to vent.
