GFS
Note that the GFS is still insisting on a northward turn around 50W then NW to near Bermuda where it moves much more slowly for a few days then shoots off to the north. That may not be too unlikely if that ridge breaks down to its north this weekend.
Looking at the latest satellite, I think that it may already be a TD.

The GFS is taking the system almost right through a weakness, IMO, which I think won't be there by the time this system gets there. It is really aggressive in developing another very strong trough, and in that range, the GFS's truncation is not strong enough. Unfortunately, I am not buying the turn to the north so quickly. Heck, the GFS hasn't been of much use beyond 96 hours, let alone a week away.
