Well Orangeblood, Im really not so sure.

According to the models, the next 2 hours should be the heaviest we should get for the rest of the event.

I think it's tough to figure out how much snow has fallen out here in Rockwall. It's obvious some of it has melted. But how much, I'm not sure. We've got about 5" right now.

The metroplex was in the ideal position for this storm. Its almost as if the upper level trough was pivoting around the metroplex. Not exactly sure of the meteorological term that should be used.

Thet definitely factored in but I'm looking for the term used when talking more in line with the longwave pattern it was moving along.

I was using the hose reel housing that is basically a cube. It measured 1.5 before I left for work. Then 2.5 when I got back 5 hours later. I know we got more than an inch during that time. Anyway, I'll use your measurements. :) Where do you live in Rowlett? I'm in the Shores in Rockwall.

The snowman is a lot harder than it looks I think I gave up. I'm thinking about just taking a picture of the neighbors snowman, and calling it my own.

7.3 inches at DFW and 7.5 is the record. It'll be broke! Historic.
