Welcome aboard! Where in Texas are you located? The northern half has very similar temperature variations as north-central Alabama. Dallas and Birmingham would be good comparisons with teens and 20s not too unusual. While southern Texas is more reminiscent of Mobile or Montgomery depending on how deep into TX where 10s and 20s are very cold. Beyond that the Panhandle and south plains are much more like Denver.
